Fiberlink® to Present Enterprise Mobility Solutions at GTRA Event

Mobility as a Service Provider Addresses Senior Government IT Leaders at Technology Conference

WASHINGTON & BLUE BELL, Pa. - GTRA is proud to announce that Fiberlink Communications Corporation, the trusted provider of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) solutions, will be presenting at the semi-annual GTRA Technology Council Meeting at the Bedford Springs Resort. The conference, which takes place June 6-8, 2010, is the premiere meeting for federal IT executives who view peer-collaboration as a critical element of success.

Safeguarding information becomes increasingly difficult when laptops, netbooks and BlackBerrys connect to government enterprises from unsecured networks. At the conference, Fiberlink will provide senior IT leaders from the defense, intelligence and civilian communities with insight on the many risk factors of mobility, and offer solutions for effectively connecting, managing and protecting mobile enterprise devices. Fiberlink’s cloud-based MaaS360 platform provides visibility, control and mobile services that empower federal agencies to operate a secure mobile enterprise.

“As government agencies embrace teleworking, cloud computing and continuity of operations planning by enabling mobile computing devices to access their enterprises, federal IT managers face a number of new challenges,” said Jeff Ward, director of public sector sales, Fiberlink. “At the GTRA meeting, Fiberlink will explain how federal agencies can leverage cloud computing to quickly and securely meet the goals of the new administration, and we’ll demonstrate how MaaS360 can support and secure these mobile devices to eliminate the risks associated with enterprise mobility.”

The GTRA Technology Council Meeting helps government IT leaders develop strategies and identify technologies to support today’s most pressing challenges, including cyber security, information sharing, mobility, infrastructure modernization and military/government/industry/international collaboration. Delegates from all federal agencies will break into small collaboration groups to discuss IT challenges and will have an opportunity to learn how Fiberlink’s MaaS360 provides the management and visibility solutions needed to secure government-issued mobile devices.

“Through GTRA’s research conducted with the government council, we have identified a need for Fiberlink’s MaaS360,” said Kelly Yocum, co-founder and executive director, GTRA. “We are confident the government delegates will gain much-needed insights from Fiberlink’s presentation.”
