Mobility-as-a-Service Leader Selected to Participate on Mobile Cloud Panel
San Francisco - CTIA Enterprise & Applications 2010 - October 5, 2010 - Fiberlink, the provider of cloud-based Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) solutions, today announced that its Senior Vice President of Customer Platform Services Jim Szafranski will participate in a key panel discussion at the CTIA Enterprise & Applications 2010 conference. The panel, titled “Embracing the Mobile Cloud,” is part of CTIA’s Mobile Enterprise track. CTIA Enterprise & Applications 2010, widely regarded as one of the leading events in the mobile industry, takes place at Moscone Center in San Francisco from October 5-8, 2010.
With panelists from Ericsson, Nokia, Motorola, Cisco Systems and The Kerton Group, Mr. Szafranski and his colleagues will discuss how combining cloud services with mobility will not only accelerate the uptake of mobility, but will expand its overall value. Attendees will learn how mobility is a critical requirement for cloud computing, and how connectivity is the link to accessing services in the cloud. The panelists will also provide research and case studies revealing how business users are embracing the mobile cloud.

Jim Szafranski is senior vice president of customer platform services at MaaS360, where he is responsible for mobile operations management for customers. Szafranski has more than twenty years of experience in the development and application of information technology with a particular focus on Internet, wireless and mobile solutions. Prior to Fiberlink, he served as vice president of product management at Cometa Networks, an AT&T, IBM and Intel wireless venture. Szafranski holds degrees in computer science from MIT and an MBA from Stanford University.
