Fiberlink® Debuts Online Community for Enterprise Mobility
Blue Bell, Pa.—September 28, 2010— Fiberlink Communications Corporation, the provider of cloud-based Mobility as a Service (MaaS) solutions, today announced the MaaSters Center, a community where network, desktop and mobile IT professionals discuss and learn about enterprise mobility and mobile device management. In addition to a community forum, the MaaSters Center includes an extensive online library of in-depth technical content that includes Webinars and how-to guides that provide best practices, tips and in-depth answers to common questions and problems. This open knowledge base is the result of over ten years of mobile solution implementations across more than 500 enterprises. “The MaaSters Center has become my go-to resource for questions on enterprise mobility,” said Sam Angura, lead engineer of Cogent. “Combing search engines for answers on the ever-changing topic of mobility can be inefficient and results often lack the enterprise depth that I need. Fiberlink pulled together a vital resource in one location, with easy access to both experts and my peers.” Fiberlink opened its vault of research on enterprise mobility to the IT community and built the MaaSters Center. The site fosters an interactive environment and encourages users to contribute commentary, tips and articles for other members to learn from their experience. Members can join best practice discussions on topics such as mobile device management, Windows 7 readiness, IT asset management and patch management. “The ever-changing landscape of enterprise mobility requires that IT professionals stay on top of the latest trends and technologies,” said Joe Pappano, vice president, customer platform services of Fiberlink. “The MaaSters Center provides the resources and professional counsel needed for everything from quick answers to in-depth technical examples. IT managers now have one destination for information that helps them make informed decisions and effectively manage their mobile enterprises.” The continuously-expanding set of resources in the MaaSters Center includes:
