Maas360 changes Lock screen timer on IOS 7

When Maas360 and the MDM profile gets installed onto our users' devices, it changes some of the lock screen security features. This only applies to iPhones though. When Maas360 is not installed you get the option to have your device lock after 1,2,3,4 or 5 minutes. You also can set it to never lock. Now when Maas360 is installed and the profile comes down, the option of never lock now disappears. I've also noticed that the fingerprint lock screen security changes as well. The options that you get with the Fingerprint when Maas36 is not installed is 1,3,5,10,15 minutes and then 1 hour and 4 hours. Once Maas360 is installed you then lose the higher value options and the only ones that become available are 1,3 and 5 minutes as well as an "Lock Immediately" option.
For our android users, we still use Maas360 but the exchange email comes through Touchdown. When Touchdown installs it asks to create a pin to get into the email. Now I'massuming thisis where the mixup would be since IOS does not use Touchdown to grab emails from the server. There is a default setting in our Maas console that automatically locks email after 5 minutes of inactivity. Since Touchdown is external to Maas the 5 minute policy pushes down, but only pertains to touchdown as oppose to the device as a whole like IOS.
Any suggestions or fixes would be very helpful.
    Thanks in advance

Just out of curiousity.  Is it possible to prevent a user from removing the MaaS360 MDM Profile from the device, granted the device is Corporate owned?

Setting up a Traveler profile on an iOS, which enables you to send and receive Lotus Notes emails is pretty easy.

The Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) is used to allow MaaS360 for Mobile Devices to securely communicate with your iOS devices over the air (OTA).  Many other iOS applications also use this functionality as well.
