Just out of curiousity.  Is it possible to prevent a user from removing the MaaS360 MDM Profile from the device, granted the device is Corporate owned?

We have some iPad devices that we are managing that have incorrect values for their Username in the Maas360 portal. With the invalid data we cannot use the %username% value as part of our configuration policies for the devices.

I'm pretty sure that I can't do this, but I wanted to ask.  Is there a way to push a device name change to an iPhone managed by Maas360?

We have a number of managed iPads that have an out of date iOS versions. We are alerted to these devices via MaaS but i was not sure if Apple had opened up their management APIs enough to allow us to force the devices to update to the latest iOS version, or if we had to have our users perform this upgrade.

Apple doesn't allow certain commands to be gathered if a device is locked or off.  If the device is queried during this time, the command will be delayed and we will not be able to gather detail about that attribute in MaaS360.

Why is my jailbreak status blank in MaaS360?

    09/27/2011 (Last edited 14 June 2012)

MaaS360 uses its MaaS360 for iOS application to detect jailbreak status.  Once the MaaS360 for iOS app is installed, the field will be updated to Yes or No depending on the status of that device.
