Employees are bringing their own iPhones, iPads and Androids to work at an unprecedented rate. To the disappointment of many, there is no one-size-fits-all method to address end-user privacy and network security concerns. Use this forum to discuss how you’ll beat devices to the door with a well-founded BYOD policy.

Contact Photos replicated to Device Contact lists

Is there any intention of replicating contact photos visible within Exchange and MAAS360 to the native Android Contact list?  It is a pet peeve of mine to not see my photos shown when receiving/places calls and texts.

Employees started bringing their own devices to work and IT began supporting them … but the number of devices in the workplace steadily increased and it became more difficult for IT to secure the data. Sound familiar?
Mike Clancy, VP Information Technology of SIHO Insurance Services, is here to tell you how they managed the onset of BYOD in a regulated industry. He discusses the search for a solution that can support volume, provide visibility and comply with HIPAA regulations.
BYOD expert Jonathan Dale from Fiberlink and Chris Hazelton from 451 Research join the conversation to discuss how you can accomplish your goals and overcome the challenges associated with BYOD. You’ll hear about some real life BYOD success stories backed by numbers and results.

How to push new email notifications?

    09/25/2013

My company is testing different mdm solutions at the moment and I am testing the Maas360 environment. I really like the product but one thing i noticed was no notification of new emails. You have to manually open the app and check for new incoming emails. Is there a way to Push new notifications?

As BYOD continues to evolve, its meaning can vary to virtually every IT professional faced with implementing it. BYOD symbolizes everything from dual persona and container technology to virtualization, and success is measured by adoption, however your company defines it. But what is the adoption threshold that needs to be reached in order to make it successful? And what are the key requirements of a BYOD program that ensure success?
