The Fiberlink Managed Personal Firewall service ensures that firewalls on mobile laptops are always up-to-date and running.

Personal firewalls block unneeded ports, restrict the use of protocols, and inspect incoming communications packets to prevent hackers from probing or penetrating remote systems.

Fiberlink’s Managed Personal Firewall service deploys, monitors, updates and remediates many personal firewalls from industry leaders like Symantec, McAfee, Microsoft, CheckPoint and ISS.

The service ensures that firewalls on mobile laptops and remote PCs are always up-to-date and running. If they are not, the MaaS30 software can prevent the device from connecting to the corporate network until the problems have been remediated. This provides a version of Network Access Control (NAC).

Fiberlink’s solution includes:
