Turning the Internet into your corporate network.

Our Vision: Mobility-as-a-Service

Fiberlink is the world's leading provider of "Mobility-as-a-Service" (MaaS). Mobility-as-a-Service is the new paradigm for simplifying all aspects of monitoring, managing, supporting, connecting and protecting mobile workers within the enterprise.

The MaaS vision is based on the concept of an Enterprise Mobility Platform™ that gives  enterprises visibility into and control over mobile devices, applications, and data. And as a cloud-based, always on solution, MaaS gives enterprises the benefits of a global mobile infrastructure without the burden of a large financial investment.

A History of Innovation

From the beginning Fiberlink has been an innovator in finding ways for enterprises to leverage network technologies to solve business problems.

Fiberlink's initial business centered on integrating voice and data services for enterprises. But Fiberlink's founders and engineers quickly grasped the growing potential of IP networking - the protocol for Internet traffic - as a business productivity tool. In 1998, Fiberlink created a managed virtual private network (VPN) service while the VPN market was still in its infancy.

In 2001, Fiberlink was the first to integrate VPNs with distributed firewalls in a single commercialized solution.

Since then, Fiberlink has continued to set the pace in the mobile security and access market by introducing an ever-expanding suite of mobile security and connectivity services.

In 2003 Fiberlink launched the award-winning Extend360 Mobility Platform, a unique laptop management and compliance platform for endpoint security and wireless services. The Extend360 Mobility Platform makes it easy for enterprises to deploy, configure, update and remediate endpoint security and connectivity software applications on mobile and remote computers.

In 2007 Fiberlink introduced the Extend360 Mobility Platform 2.0, a major enhancement of the Extend360 Mobility Platform and the industry's most complete Enterprise Mobility Platform. The company also announced Mobile NAC, the first Network Access Control solution designed specifically for the mobile workforce.

In 2008 Fiberlink announced the world's first true "Mobility-as-a-Service" solution, the MaaS360™ Platform.

Fiberlink is also an innovator and leader in applying an "on-demand" hosted software model to mobile security and connectivity software applications. This model helps enterprises accelerate application deployments, increase the reliability of mobile security and connectivity, reduce operational costs, and allow IT organizations to focus on strategic projects instead of routine management tasks.

Today and Tomorrow

Today Fiberlink's advanced technology protects one million mobile workers in over 700 companies, including industry leaders like Grant Thornton, Toyota, and Davidson Companies.

Fiberlink offers:

  • Three hosted offerings, the MaaS360 Visibility, Control and Mobile services, that provide administrators with progressively more visibility, management and network connectivity capabilities.
  • The most advanced mobility management platform available, which reduces costs and simplifies compliance with security and connectivity policies.
  • One of the industry's widest selection of data protection and endpoint security applications, available from one source as hosted services.
  • Simple anytime/anywhere network connectivity, using the advanced Wi-Fi, wireless data and wired networking technology, and leveraging Fiberlink's global virtual network of almost 100,000 access points worldwide.

Fiberlink has been recognized by Gartner as a Leader for six consecutive years in their Magic Quadrant for Managed Remote Access and Mobility Services. Fiberlink has been named an Emerging Tech Vendor by CRN, a Hot Company Winner by the Network Products Guide, and has twice been named a CODiE Award finalist by the Software and Information Industry Association (SIIA). The company has also received SAS70 Type II Certification, demonstrating its ability to meet the leading international standard for control and security in service companies.

Looking forward, Fiberlink knows that the pace of enterprise business will only increase - and so will our focus on delivering the industry's most valuable suite of cutting-edge mobile security and connectivity solutions. We are unwavering in our commitment to protect today's global enterprises, no matter where their workforce may roam.
