James Sheward
Chief Executive Officer, Cofounder & Director
Under Jim's leadership, Fiberlink has grown into a profitable, customer-focused company that is changing the way enterprises think about mobile computing. Recognizing the growing importance of productivity and the need to protect corporate resources by securing mobile workers, Jim has created a strategy and vision for Fiberlink that leverages best of breed security products and access options and combines them into an easy-to-use mobile working solution. Jim is on the board of the Mastery Charter High School Foundation, DotPhoto Inc. and the Eastern Technology Council, and recently chaired a committee at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Before co-founding Fiberlink with Paul Russell in 1991, Jim was the Western Regional Sales Manager for Systems Industries. Jim has won various awards including the Blue Chip Enterprise Award Year 2000 sponsored by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Mass Mutual Financial Group, the Greater Philadelphia's 2001 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in the Software and Technology Services Category, and the 2004 Information and Technology Innovator Award from the Fox School of Business at Temple University. Christopher Clark
Chief Operating Officer
Chris' previous position was CEO and BOD member of a tier-one, private venture start-up in a turn-around situation. He delivered continuous revenue growth and cost reductions while securing significant progress in channels and penetration of F500 global accounts. Chris has also held executive management positions at Sprint Corporation, Unisys Corporation, Schering Plough Corporation and a United States government agency. His role has always centered on strategy, P&L responsibility, implementation of new growth initiatives and technology. Chris spent seven years at Sprint in multiple roles including Financial Analysis, M&A, and Business Development. As Vice President of IP Product Management, he led a team to implement Sprint's global IP backbone, product portfolio and sales-enabled channel. He spent fours years at Unisys and Nihon Unisys Japan driving sales and software for the Japanese joint venture. Chris has lived and worked in the US, Europe, Japan and China. Before joining the company in 2005, Mark was the CFO of Headhunter.NET, now CareerBuilder.com,
where he successfully managed the company's IPO, completed several acquisitions, and negotiated
multiple partnership agreements. Prior to this role, Mark was the CFO of Contour Medical Supply,
Inc. which was sold to Sun Healthcare in 1999. He has also worked as Director of M&A for
American Health Imaging, Inc. and Controller at the Williams Group International, Inc. Mark began
his career as a Certified Public Accountant with a large accounting firm in Atlanta, Georgia.
Steve Hammond
President, Fiberlink International
Prior to joining Fiberlink, Steve spent 19 years at Hilti USA and Hilti International in
managerial roles. Most recently with Hilti International, Steve spent four years in Asia Pacific as
general manager of Hilti Hong Kong, Ltd. where he was responsible for all strategic planning,
profit management, sales development, product management and personnel development. Under Steve's
leadership, Hilti Hong Kong, Ltd. experienced improved market share, its highest return on sales
ratio in the Asia Pacific Region, and the development of significant business relationships with
key contractors in the Hong Kong market.
Jim Szafranski
Senior Vice President, Customer Platform Services
Prior to Fiberlink, Jim was active in starting and growing multiple companies. He led the product line for Tut Systems that underpinned an IPO in 1999. He seed funded and subsequently raised over $45M in venture capital for Sandial Systems. Most recently, he was VP of Product Management at Cometa Networks, an Intel, IBM, and AT&T venture. Jim earned a BS and MS degree in Computer Science from MIT and an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. |
